Soar Truckee, located in scenic Lake Tahoe, California, nestles
in a valley of the Sierra Mountains, just three miles south of
Interstate 80, at an elevation of 5,900'. Staffed by experts in
the sport of soaring, we offer glider rides
over spectacular scenery. See article in the Sacramento Bee.
We also provide instruction, aero-tow,
and other services for the clubs and individuals
who love to fly with the eagles in this mountain environment.
Soar Truckee also offers an on-site bunkhouse, shower, flush
toilets and both on-site and adjacent camping
facilities. The historical old railway town of Truckee, and
the Northstar-at-Tahoe resort are both nearby click
here for more info on accommodations. Donner Lake and Lake
Tahoe are within easy driving distance, and these areas provide
a perfect family summer vacation site.
